Matthew Shang

Hi! I'm a BS/MS student studying computer science at the University of Washington, where I am advised by Gilbert Bernstein. I'm currently interested in the differentiability of chaotic systems and applying probabilistic programming to biology.

Previously, I worked on trading systems at Jane Street, continuous integration tools at Two Sigma, and CUDA developer tools at NVIDIA. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and playing piano.
